Galloway, N.J. 鈥 The best way to network and connect with Stockton alumni can be found at many campus events hosted by the Student Alumni Association (SAA).
The Student Alumni Association plans to collaborate with to host a First-Generation Alumni & Student Mixer during First-Gen Week on Thursday, Nov. 6.
Students can learn more about being a part of the Student Alumni Association by visiting the Stockton Foundation website or following them on Instagram.
Whether it's spending time with therapy animals from an alumni-owned veterinary practice or volunteering at the prestigious annual , SAA offers access to exclusive opportunities and events.
The newly rebranded organization aims to be the bridge between students and alumni, fostering meaningful relationships that may lead to mentorship or internship opportunities.
The organization follows four pillars of focus to drive its mission:
- Leadership: Develop leadership skills while representing the university as a student ambassador.
- Service: Foster a culture of philanthropy through activities and events supporting fellow students.
- Traditions: Build and create new traditions through school spirit events and leave your mark on Stockton鈥檚 history.
- Networking: Gain professional experience through mentorships and networking with alumni.
鈥淪AA helps students find community on campus, get involved, and build skills that will be used long after college,鈥 said Destinee Mikouiza-Mbassi, vice president of SAA.
