Intergenerational Service Initiatives

SCOSA's Intergenerational Service Initiatives create connections between Stockton students and older adults in the community.

Service-learning is an experiential learning approach that takes students beyond the classroom, engaging them as active participants in their education. In SCOSA's service-learning activities, students will deepen their understanding of course content by exploring new ideas alongside older adults.

For the Fall 2025 semester, SCOSA is hosting eight weeks of activities to promote intergenerational learning and collaboration on the Galloway campus. Please register for all of the sessions that interest you!

Sessions will be held on Mondays (10-11 a.m.) & Thursdays (8:30-9:30 a.m.) from September 29 through November 20. Each week, the Monday and Thursday sessions will feature the same content and activities. So, please register for either the Monday session OR the Thursday session in a week.
